Shiva Purana
पुराखिलजगन्माता सती दाक्षायणी तनुम् ॥ शिवनिन्दाप्रसङ्गेन त्यक्त्वा च जनकाध्वरे ॥ ६॥
In the past the chaste mother of the entire universe assumed the form of Dakshayani On the occasion of blasphemy against Lord Śiva he abandoned the sacrifice of Janaka.
english translation
purAkhilajaganmAtA satI dAkSAyaNI tanum ॥ zivanindAprasaGgena tyaktvA ca janakAdhvare ॥ 6॥
