Shiva Purana
मंत्रैरंगानि संस्पृश्य मूर्द्धादिचरणान्ततः ॥ ईशानाद्यैः पञ्चमंत्रै शिर आरभ्य सर्वतः ॥ ८४ ॥
Touch the limbs with mantras from the head and feet to the ends. Starting with the head, chant the five mantras beginning with the north-east.

maMtrairaMgAni saMspRzya mUrddhAdicaraNAntataH ॥ IzAnAdyaiH paJcamaMtrai zira Arabhya sarvataH ॥ 84 ॥
