त्रैवर्णिकानां सर्व्वेषां स्वस्वाश्रमरतात्मनाम् ॥ श्रुतिस्मृत्युदितो धर्मोऽनुष्ठेयो नापरः क्वचित् ॥ २३ ॥

All the trivarnikas were devoted to their respective hermitages The religious principles enjoined by the Vedas and Smritis are to be practiced and nowhere else.

traivarNikAnAM sarvveSAM svasvAzramaratAtmanAm ॥ zrutismRtyudito dharmo'nuSTheyo nAparaH kvacit ॥ 23 ॥
