सम्वत्सरान्ते स पुनः काशीम्प्राप महामुनिः ॥ शिवभक्तिरतो ज्ञानी पुराणार्थप्रकाशकः ॥ ४॥

At the end of a year, the sage, engaged in devotional activities of Śiva, the wise propounder of the meaning to the Purāṇas, came to Kāśī again.

english translation

samvatsarAnte sa punaH kAzImprApa mahAmuniH ॥ zivabhaktirato jJAnI purANArthaprakAzakaH ॥ 4॥
