नकि॑रिन्द्र॒ त्वदुत्त॑रो॒ न ज्यायाँ॑ अस्ति वृत्रहन् । नकि॑रे॒वा यथा॒ त्वम् ॥ नकिरिन्द्र त्वदुत्तरो न ज्यायाँ अस्ति वृत्रहन् । नकिरेवा यथा त्वम् ॥
There is no one, Indra, superior to you; no one more excellent (than you); slayer of Vṛtra there is no one, verily, such as you are.
english translation
स॒त्रा ते॒ अनु॑ कृ॒ष्टयो॒ विश्वा॑ च॒क्रेव॑ वावृतुः । स॒त्रा म॒हाँ अ॑सि श्रु॒तः ॥ सत्रा ते अनु कृष्टयो विश्वा चक्रेव वावृतुः । सत्रा महाँ असि श्रुतः ॥
Verily men are attached to you as are all the wheels (to the body of the wagon); in truth you are great and renowned.
english translation
विश्वे॑ च॒नेद॒ना त्वा॑ दे॒वास॑ इन्द्र युयुधुः । यदहा॒ नक्त॒माति॑रः ॥ विश्वे चनेदना त्वा देवास इन्द्र युयुधुः । यदहा नक्तमातिरः ॥
Verily all the gods, with you (for) their strength, have warred (with the asuras); wherefore you have destroyed by day and by night.
english translation
यत्रो॒त बा॑धि॒तेभ्य॑श्च॒क्रं कुत्सा॑य॒ युध्य॑ते । मु॒षा॒य इ॑न्द्र॒ सूर्य॑म् ॥ यत्रोत बाधितेभ्यश्चक्रं कुत्साय युध्यते । मुषाय इन्द्र सूर्यम् ॥
In wihc (contests), for the sake of Kutsa and his allies, you hae stolen, Indra, the (wheel of the car) of the sun.
english translation
यत्र॑ दे॒वाँ ऋ॑घाय॒तो विश्वाँ॒ अयु॑ध्य॒ एक॒ इत् । त्वमि॑न्द्र व॒नूँरह॑न् ॥ यत्र देवाँ ऋघायतो विश्वाँ अयुध्य एक इत् । त्वमिन्द्र वनूँरहन् ॥
In which (contest) you singly indeed have warred with all those opposing the gods; you, Indra, have slain the malignant.
