अग्ने॒ सह॑स्व॒ पृत॑ना अ॒भिमा॑ती॒रपा॑स्य । दु॒ष्टर॒स्तर॒न्नरा॑ती॒र्वर्चो॑ धा य॒ज्ञवा॑हसे ॥ अग्ने सहस्व पृतना अभिमातीरपास्य । दुष्टरस्तरन्नरातीर्वर्चो धा यज्ञवाहसे ॥
Repel, Agni, (hostile) hosts; drive away (all) assailants; insuperable, foe-surpassing, give food to the instrumental tutor of this sacrifice.
english translation
अग्न॑ इ॒ळा समि॑ध्यसे वी॒तिहो॑त्रो॒ अम॑र्त्यः । जु॒षस्व॒ सू नो॑ अध्व॒रम् ॥ अग्न इळा समिध्यसे वीतिहोत्रो अमर्त्यः । जुषस्व सू नो अध्वरम् ॥
Agni (who is) immortal and who is gratified by oblations, you are kindled upon the altar; be plural ased by this our sacrifice.
english translation
अग्ने॑ द्यु॒म्नेन॑ जागृवे॒ सह॑सः सूनवाहुत । एदं ब॒र्हिः स॑दो॒ मम॑ ॥ अग्ने द्युम्नेन जागृवे सहसः सूनवाहुत । एदं बर्हिः सदो मम ॥
Agni, son of strength, vigilant (in the exercise of) your energy, take your seat when invoked on the sacred grass (strewn at) my (sacrifice).
english translation
अग्ने॒ विश्वे॑भिर॒ग्निभि॑र्दे॒वेभि॑र्महया॒ गिर॑: । य॒ज्ञेषु॒ य उ॑ चा॒यव॑: ॥ अग्ने विश्वेभिरग्निभिर्देवेभिर्महया गिरः । यज्ञेषु य उ चायवः ॥
Agni, with all the divine fires, respect the praises of those who in (their) sacrifices are (your especial) worshippers.
english translation
अग्ने॒ दा दा॒शुषे॑ र॒यिं वी॒रव॑न्तं॒ परी॑णसम् । शि॒शी॒हि न॑: सूनु॒मत॑: ॥ अग्ने दा दाशुषे रयिं वीरवन्तं परीणसम् । शिशीहि नः सूनुमतः ॥
Grant, Agni, ample wealth and progeny to the donor (of the oblation); make us prosperous, possessed of offspring.
