यत्राष्टवर्गेऽधिकबिन्दवः स्यु- स्तत्र स्थितो गोचरतो ग्रहेन्द्रः । तद्वत्फलं प्राह शुभं व्ययारि- रन्ध्रस्थितो वाऽपि शुभं विद्धत्ते ॥ ४१॥
Planets passing through Rasis containing more benefic dots in the Ashtakavarga produce good effect always. Even when such Rasis happen to be the 12 th, 6 th or 8 th, the effect will be good and beneficial.

yatrASTavarge'dhikabindavaH syu- statra sthito gocarato grahendraH । tadvatphalaM prAha zubhaM vyayAri- randhrasthito vA'pi zubhaM viddhatte ॥ 41॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरवेद्वदिशनक्षत्रं भूसुतस्य तृतीयकम् । गुरोः षट्तारकं चैव शनेरष्टमतारकम् ॥ ४२॥
The 12 th asterism counted from that occupied by the Sun at the time, the 3 rd from that of Mars, the 6 th from that of Jupiter, and the 8 th from that of Saturn are termed purolattah or forward Lattas.

If, when thus counting the janmanaksatra (Janmanakshatra. natal star) happens to come as the Latta star, there will be sickness and anguish.
