Phaladeepika
यावन्ति वर्षणि दशा च सा स्यात्- चारक्रमात्तत्र दशापतिः सः । यत्र स्थितस्तद्भवनाद्विधोस्तु स्थितेः प्रकल्प्यं सदसत्फलं हि ॥ ६०॥
During the several periods over which a Dasa may extend, the good or evil effect is to be determined with reference to the particular house counted from the Moon which the lord of the Dasa may occupy for the time being in its progress through its orbit.

yAvanti varSaNi dazA ca sA syAt- cArakramAttatra dazApatiH saH । yatra sthitastadbhavanAdvidhostu sthiteH prakalpyaM sadasatphalaM hi ॥ 60॥
