बुधस्तदनु चंद्रोऽपि भवेत्त्दनु तद्विधः । पापाश्चेत्केन्द्रपतयः शुभदाश्चोत्तरोत्तरम् ॥ ५१॥
Mercury (if he should happen to own Kendra houses) is less powerful (than Jupiter and Venus in doing evil). The Moon in such a condition comes next to Mercury. Malefics when they happen to own Kendras will become more and more auspicious in their effects.

budhastadanu caMdro'pi bhavettdanu tadvidhaH । pApAzcetkendrapatayaH zubhadAzcottarottaram ॥ 51॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयदि केन्द्रे त्रिकोणे वा निवसेतां तमोग्रहौ । नाथेनान्यतरस्यैव संबन्धाद्योगकारकौ ॥ ५२॥
If Rahu and Ketu should be posited in a Kendra or Trikona they and become Yogakarakas, i.e., instrumental in (doing) bringing about good to the native if they are connected ( XV-30, supra) with the lord of one of these Kendra and Trikona'.

yadi kendre trikoNe vA nivasetAM tamograhau । nAthenAnyatarasyaiva saMbandhAdyogakArakau ॥ 52॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतमोग्रहौ शुभारूढौऽसंबद्धौ येन केनचित् । अन्तर्दशानुरूपेण भवेतां योगकारकौ ॥ ५३॥
If Rahu and Ketu occupy houses owned by benefics and are connected (vid XV-30, supra) with any planet, they become auspicious and produce good results at their Bhuktis in the main Dasa of the said planet. line.

tamograhau zubhArUDhau'saMbaddhau yena kenacit । antardazAnurUpeNa bhavetAM yogakArakau ॥ 53॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआरम्भो राजयोगस्य भवेन्मारकभुक्तिषु । प्रथयन्ति तमारभ्य क्रमशः पापभुक्तयः ॥ ५४॥
During the Dasa of a Yogakaraka planet, the Rajayoga begins when the Bhuktis of the Karaka planets are in progress. The Bhuklis of malefics which succeed them in their turn increase the same.

Arambho rAjayogasya bhavenmArakabhuktiSu । prathayanti tamArabhya kramazaH pApabhuktayaH ॥ 54॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरन्ध्रस्थरन्ध्रेक्षकरन्ध्रनाथ- रन्ध्रत्रिभागाधिपमान्दिभेशाः । दुःखप्रदास्तेष्वपि दुर्बलो यः स नाशकारी स्वदशापहारे ॥ ५५॥
he following will engender misery to the native: (1) the planet occupying the 8 th house; (2) the one aspecting it; (3) the one owning it; (4) the one owning the decanate of the 8 th house; and (5) the planet owning the sign occupied by Mandi . Even among these, the one that is the weakest will be the killer of the native and this may happen in his Dasa or Apahara .
