Phaladeepika
लग्नास्तपुत्रपतिजीवदशापहारे पुत्रेक्षकस्य सुतगस्य च पुत्रसिद्धिः पुत्रेशराशिमथवा यमकण्टकर्क्षं जीवेगते तनयसिद्धिरथांशभे वा ॥ २५॥
The birth of a son should be expected during the Dasa or Apahara of any one of the 6 planets, viz., (1) the lord of the Lagna, (2) the lord of the 7 th, (3) the lord of the 5 th. (4) Jupiter; (5) the planet aspecting the 5 th. house or (6) the one occupying the 5 th house or when Jupiter in his orbit transits the sign or the Navamsa Rasi occupied by the lord of the 5 th house or the Upagraha Yamakantaka.
