तत्र हिङ्कारादीनामनियमेनाभ्यासेन विकल्पेन च तत्कालमेव प्रयोगः ॥ १३ ॥
One must judge from the girl's sighs whether the blows given are insufficient, and if the moment has come for going ahead without restraint.

सीत्कारों का उचित समय-हिंकार आदि सीत्कारों का अनियम से, अभ्यास से और विकल्प से तत्काल ही प्रयोग करना चाहिये ॥ १३ ॥
