(८)मूलत्रिकोणस्वगृहोच्चभागवर्गोत्तमानां दयवर्गजानम् । संबोगजातोत्तमनामपूर्वा वैशेषिकांशा इति ते वदन्ति ॥
(8) Now the special names arising from the ten vargas (dashavarga) [the text reads dayavarga]. From the combination (samyoga) [the text reads sambhoga] of moolatrikona, own house, exaltation and vargottama among the ten vargas arise the special divisions (vaisheshikamsha), which, they say, bear names beginning with Uttama.
