(७)ओजे कलांशप्रभुखास्तदीशा विरञ्चिशौरीशदिवाकराश्च । युग्मे विलग्ने सति भास्कराद्या विलोमतः षोडशभागनाथाः ॥
(7) In an odd sign the lords of the sixteenth-parts (kalamsha) are Brahma, Vishnu (Shauri), Shiva (Isha) and the Sun, in order; in an even lagna they go in reverse, beginning with the Sun.
