यथा चाकालमरणं यथायुक्तं च भेषजम्। सिद्धिं यात्यौषधं येषां न कुर्याद्येन हेतुना ॥५१॥
cause of premature death, selection of treatment to achieve success, and the reason for not treating a particular patient -

तदात्रेयोऽग्निवेशाय निखिलं सर्वमुक्तवान्। देशोद्ध्वंसनिमित्तीये विमाने मुनिसत्तमः ॥५२॥
all these aspects have been expounded in the form of a dialogue between Lord Atreya and Agnivesha in this chapter on janapadodhwansa (destruction of communities). Thus ends the third chapter on janapadodhwansa of the vimana section , composed by Agnivesha and redacted by Charaka.
