शुक्रहा बद्धविण्मूत्रो विपाको वातलः कटुः। मधुरः सृष्टविण्मूत्रो विपाकः कफशुक्रलः ॥६१॥
Katu vipaka impairs shukra(semen), obstructs (excretion of) faeces and urine and aggravates vata. Madhura vipaka helps excretion of urine and faeces from the body, increases kapha and semen.
