Charak Samhita
आमाशयगते वाते कफे पक्वाशयाश्रिते। रूक्षपूर्वो हितः स्वेदः स्नेहपूर्वस्तथैव च ॥९॥
॥ Mode of swedana as per site of dosha॥ When vata is located at the site of ama (amashaya or stomach), sudation is administered with dry agents and when kapha is located in the site of pakva (pakwashaya,or colon) , sudation is initiated with unctuous agents.
