स्यात्तर्पणं तत्र मृदु द्रवं च स्निग्धस्य तीक्ष्णं तु पुनर्न योगे। इत्यातुरस्वस्थसुखः प्रयोगो बलायुषोर्वृद्धिकृदामयघ्नः॥५३॥

For the management of conditions arising out of inappropriate administration of shirovirechana the patient should be given oleation therapy and thereafter strong shirovirechana should be administered. In this manner the Panchakarma therapies are described to ensure happiness in both patient and healthy persons by promoting their strength and longevity and also curing the diseases.

syAttarpaNaM tatra mRdu dravaM ca snigdhasya tIkSNaM tu punarna yoge। ityAturasvasthasukhaH prayogo balAyuSorvRddhikRdAmayaghnaH॥53॥
