ज्वरान् दोषक्रमापेक्षी यथोक्तैरौषधैर्जयेत्। वर्धनेनैकदोषस्य क्षपणेनोच्छ्रितस्य वा ॥२८६।
Sannipātaja jwara should be treated by increasing one dosha, reducing the excessively aggravated one or by correcting the sites of the doshas in order, beginning with the site of kapha.
english translation
jvarAn doSakramApekSI yathoktairauSadhairjayet। vardhanenaikadoSasya kSapaNenocchritasya vA ॥286।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकफस्थानानुपूर्व्या वा सन्निपातज्वरं जयेत्। सन्निपातज्वरस्यान्ते कर्णमूले सुदारूणः ॥२८७॥
[Management of karnamulika shotha (inflammatoion near the root of the ears)] A serious outcome of the sannipataja jwara is inflammation near the root of the ears which is a very serious condition and very few of such patients survive.

kaphasthAnAnupUrvyA vA sannipAtajvaraM jayet। sannipAtajvarasyAnte karNamUle sudArUNaH ॥287॥
