ये च पिबन्ति वितस्तां इरावतीं चन्द्रभागसरितं च । रथरजतऽकरकुञ्जरतुरगमहामात्रधनयुक्ताः ॥ १६-२६ ॥

Those who drink from the rivers Vitasta, Iravati, and Chandrabhaga, are endowed with chariots, silver, steeds, and abundant wealth.

सुरभिकुसुमानुलेपनमणिवज्रविभूषणाम्बुरुहशय्याः । वरतरुणयुवतिकामौपकरणमृष्टान्नमधुरभुजः ॥ १६-२७ ॥

They recline on beds scented with fragrant flowers and adorned with jewels and diamonds, attended by the finest young women, enjoying sweet and delicious food.

उद्यानसलिलकामुकयशःसुखाउदार्यरूपसम्पन्नाः । विद्वदमात्यवणिग्जनघटकृच्चित्राण्डजास्त्रिफलाः ॥ १६-२८ ॥

They are endowed with fame and beauty, generous in pleasure, fond of gardens and water, and surrounded by learned ministers, merchants, craftsmen, and attendants skilled in diverse arts.

कौशेयपट्टकम्बलपत्रौर्णिकरोध्रपत्रचोचानि । जातीफलागुरुवचापिप्पल्यश्चन्दनं च भृगोः ॥ १६-२९ ॥

Blankets and cloths of fine wool, mats and cushions made of leaves, together with nutmeg, cloves, long pepper, and sandalwood, the honey-like treasures.

आनर्तऽर्बुदपुष्करसौराष्ट्रऽभीरशूद्ररैवतकाः । नष्टा यस्मिन्देशे सरस्वती पश्चिमो देशः । १६-३० ॥

The Anarta, Arbuda, Pushkara, and Saurashtra regions, inhabited by Abhiras, Shudras, and Raivatakas, have been lost in that land where the Sarasvati flows in the western region.
