Brihat Jataka
स्त्रीभिर्गतः परिभवं मदगे पतङ्गे स्वल्पात्मजो निधनगे विकलेक्षणश्च । धर्मे सुतार्थ सुख भाक् सुख शौर्य भाक् खे लाभे प्रभूतधनवान् पतितस्तु रिःफे ॥ २०-३॥
When the Sun is in the 7th house, there is humilation related with women. When the Sun is in the 8th house, one has very few offspring and defective vision. When the Sun is in the 9th house, one is possessing offspring, means, and comfort. When the Sun is in the 10th house, one is possessing comfort and heroism. When the Sun is in the 11th house, possessed of abundant wealth. But when the Sun is in the 12th house, one is ruined.

strIbhirgataH paribhavaM madage pataGge svalpAtmajo nidhanage vikalekSaNazca । dharme sutArtha sukha bhAk sukha zaurya bhAk khe lAbhe prabhUtadhanavAn patitastu riHphe ॥ 20-3॥
