बौधे हि रङ्गचरचौरकवीन्द्रमंत्री गेयज्ञशिल्पनिपुण: शशिनि स्थितेंऽशे ॥ स्वांशेऽल्पगात्रधनलुब्धतपस्विमुख्य: स्त्रीपोष्यकृत्यनिरतश्चनिरीक्ष्यमाणे ॥ १९-६ ॥
Indeed, when the Moon is in the zodiac signs related to Mercury and aspected ॥ by the Sun॥, one is an actor; ॥ by Mars॥, one is a thief; ॥ by Mercury॥, one is a great poet; ॥ by Jupiter॥, one is minister; ॥ by Venus॥, one is knowledgeable in singing; ॥ by Saturn॥, one is skillful in art.

॥ When the Moon॥ is in the portion (navamsha) of Leo ॥ and is also aspected by the Sun॥, one is with anger. ॥ aspected by Mars॥, one is beloved by a lord of the people; ॥ aspected by Mercury॥, one is a lord of treasury; ॥ aspected by Jupiter॥, one is a lord; ॥ aspected by Venus॥, one is without child; ॥ aspected by Saturn॥, one has very terrible karma.

When the Moon is in the portion (navamsha) of Saturn and aspected by the Sun, one will have few children; by Mars, one is distressed even in living; by Mercury, one is haughty; by Jupiter, one is attached to one’s own in action; by Venus, one is devoted to wicked women; by Saturn, one is poor.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptवगोंत्तमस्वपरगेषु शुभं युदुक्तं तत्पुष्टमध्यलघुताशुभमुत्क्रमेण ॥ वीर्यान्वितोंऽशकपतिर्निरुणद्धि पूर्वं राशीक्षणस्य फलमंशफलंददाति ॥ १९-९ ॥
When ॥ the Moon॥ is situated in vargottama, in one’s own (navamsha), or another’s (navamsha), that which is declared as auspicious, that is thriving, middling, and insignificant; respectively. With the reverse is inauspiciousness. The lord of the portion (navamsha) possessed of power stops the previous and it gives the result of the portion (navamsha) and the result of the aspect to the zodiac signs.
