रज्जुर्मुशलं नलश्चराद्यै: सत्यश्चाश्रयजाञ्जगाद योगान् ॥ केन्द्रै: सदसद्युतैर्दलाख्यौ स्त्रक्सर्पौ कथितौ पराशरेण ॥ १२-२ ॥
Beginning with the movable zodiac signs are Rajju (rope) yoga, Mushala (pestle) yoga, and Nala (reed) yoga. Satya said, they are born from Ashraya yogas. With the angles (1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses) united with benefics and malefics, the two are called Dala (portion) yogas. Sraj (garland of flowers) (when the angles are joined with benefics) yoga or a Sarpa (serpent) yoga (when the angles are joined with malefics), as declared by Parashara.
