मनोह्वा सैन्धवं कृष्णा तैलेन नयनाञ्जनम् । योज्यं हिङ्गुसमा व्याघ्रीवसा नस्यं ससैन्धवम् ॥ १६१ ॥
Vishama Jvara Chikitsa: Nasya and Anjana therapies : Realgar, rock salt, Piper longum are mixed in oil and made into a collyrium (eye salve) and applied to the eye. Ferula narthex muscle fat of a tigress equal in quantity, added with rock salt is administered as nasal drops;

पुराणसर्पिः सिंहस्य वसा तद्वत्ससैन्धवा । पलङ्कषा निम्बपत्रं वचा कुष्ठं हरीतकी ॥ १६२ ॥

सर्षपाः सयवाः सर्पिर्धूपो विड्वा बिडालजा । पुरध्यामवचासर्जनिम्बार्कागुरुदारुभिः ॥ १६३ ॥

धूपो ज्वरेषु सर्वेषु कार्योऽयमपराजितः । धूपनस्याञ्जनोत्त्रासा ये चोक्ताश्चित्तवैकृते ॥ १६४ ॥
may be used for fumigation in all types of fevers. This is known as AparajitaDhupa. Recipes of fumigation, nasal medication, eye salves, and methods of sudden frightening psychological therapies, described in the (treatment of) disorders of the mind may also be adopted in Vishama Jvara.

दैवाश्रयं च भैषज्यं ज्वरान्सर्वान्व्यपोहति । विशेषाद्विषमान्प्रायस्ते ह्यागन्त्वनुबन्धजाः ॥ १६५ ॥
Daivashraya (providential) therapies cure all kinds of fevers, especially the VisamaJvara because these are usually produced by external factors.
