चतुर्गुणेनाम्भसा वा पिप्पल्या वा शृतं पिबेत् । कासाच्छ्वासाच्चिरःशूलात्पार्श्वशूलाच्चिरज्वरात् ॥ १११ ॥
Milk may be boiled with water four times its quantity (and reduced to a quarter) or may be boiled with Piper longum and consumed. The patient of fever gets relieved of cough, dyspnoea, headache, pain in the flanks and chronic fever

caturguNenAmbhasA vA pippalyA vA zRtaM pibet । kAsAcchvAsAcciraHzUlAtpArzvazUlAccirajvarAt ॥ 111 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमुच्यते ज्वरितः पीत्वा पञ्चमूलीशृतं पयः । शृतमेरण्डमूलेन बालबिल्वेन वा ज्वरात् ॥ ११२ ॥
by drinking milk boiled with five roots of Brihat Panchamula; by drinking milk boiled either with roots of Eranda (Ricinus communis) or tender fruits of Bilva (Aegle marmelos) gets free from fever.

mucyate jvaritaH pItvA paJcamUlIzRtaM payaH । zRtameraNDamUlena bAlabilvena vA jvarAt ॥ 112 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधारोष्णं वा पयः पीत्वा विबद्धानिलवर्चसः । सरक्तपिच्छातिसृतेः सतृट्शूलप्रवाहिकात् ॥ ११३ ॥
By drinking warm milk direct from the cow’s udder, the patient of fever gets relieved of obstruction of flatus and faeces, diarrhoea with more of blood and mucus, thirst, pain in the abdomen and straining at stools.

Kshirapana: Drinking milk in fevers : Milk processed with Zingiber officinale, Sida cordifolia, Solanum xanthocarpum, Tribulus terrestris added with jaggery relieves oedema, obstruction of urine, faeces and flatus, fever and cough;

siddhaM zuNThIbalAvyAghrIgokaNTakaguDaiH payaH । zophamUtrazakRdvAtavibandhajvarakAsajit ॥ 114 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवृश्चीवबिल्ववर्षाभूसाधितं ज्वरशोफनुत् । शिंशिपासारसिद्धं च क्षीरमाशु ज्वरापहम् ॥ ११५ ॥
boiled with Boerhavia diffusa, Aegle marmelos, Boerhavia diffusa. It relieves fever and oedema; milk processed with the extract of Simsipa (Dalbergia sissoo) cures fever quickly.
