संहित प्रयाणे मित्र हिरण्य भूमि लाभानाम् उत्तर उत्तरो लाभः श्रेयान् ॥

OF the three gains, the acquisition of a friend, of gold, and of territory, accruing from the march of combined powers, that which is mentioned later is better than the one previously mentioned.

english translation
