अनेन मण्डल पृथक्त्वं व्याख्यातम् अरि मध्यम उदासीनानाम् ॥
The end is also of three kinds: that which is attainable by deliberation is the end of deliberation; that which is attainable by the strength of sovereignty is the end of sovereignty;
english translation
anena maNDala pRthaktvaM vyAkhyAtam ari madhyama udAsInAnAm ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं चतुर् मण्डल संक्षेपः ॥
and that which is to be secured by perseverance is the end of martial power.

evaM catur maNDala saMkSepaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्वादश राज प्रकृतयः षष्टिर् द्रव्य प्रकृतयः, संक्षेपेण द्वि सप्ततिः ॥
The possession of power and happiness in a greater degree makes a king superior to another; in a less degree, inferior; and in an equal degree, equal.

dvAdaza rAja prakRtayaH SaSTir dravya prakRtayaH, saMkSepeNa dvi saptatiH ॥
