Arthashastra
यो अर्थः शत्रु वृद्धिम् अप्राप्तः करोति, प्राप्तः प्रत्यादेयः परेषां भवति, प्राप्यमाणो वा क्षय व्यय उदयो भवति, स भवत्य् आपद् अर्थः ॥
Wealth which, when obtained, increases the enemy's prosperity, or which, though obtained, is repayable to the enemy, or which causes loss of men and money, is dangerous wealth;
english translation
yo arthaH zatru vRddhim aprAptaH karoti, prAptaH pratyAdeyaH pareSAM bhavati, prApyamANo vA kSaya vyaya udayo bhavati, sa bhavaty Apad arthaH ॥
