शुद्धं वा मद्यं दण्ड मुख्येभ्यः प्रदाय मद काले रस सिद्धं प्रयच्छेत् ॥
Alternatively, after offering pure wine to the high-ranking officers, one should administer to them a potion prepared with poison at the time of their intoxication.

zuddhaM vA madyaM daNDa mukhyebhyaH pradAya mada kAle rasa siddhaM prayacchet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदण्ड मुख्य व्यञ्जनो वा पुत्रम् अभित्यक्तम् इति समानम् ॥
Alternatively, a high-ranking official or a secret agent may use an abandoned son; the same procedure applies.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptपाक्व मांसिक औदनिक औण्डिक आपूपिक व्यञ्जना वा पण्य विशेषम् अवघोषयित्वा परस्पर संघर्षेण कालिकं समर्घतरम् इति वा परान् आहूय रसेन स्व पण्यान्य् अपचारयेयुः ॥
Spies, disguised as experts in trading in cooked flesh, cooked rice, liquor, and cakes, may vie with each other in proclaiming in public the sale of a fresh supply of their special articles at cheap price and may sell the articles mixed with poison to the attracted customers of the enemy.

pAkva mAMsika audanika auNDika ApUpika vyaJjanA vA paNya vizeSam avaghoSayitvA paraspara saMgharSeNa kAlikaM samarghataram iti vA parAn AhUya rasena sva paNyAny apacArayeyuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुरा क्षीर दधि सर्पिस् तैलानि वा तद् व्यवहर्तृ हस्तेषु गृहीता स्त्रियो बालाश् च रस युक्तेषु स्व भाजनेषु परिकिरेयुः ॥
Women and children may receive in their poisoned vessels, liquor, milk, curd, ghee, or oil from traders in those articles, and pour those fluids back into the vessels of the traders, saying that at a specified rate the whole may be sold to them.

surA kSIra dadhi sarpis tailAni vA tad vyavahartR hasteSu gRhItA striyo bAlAz ca rasa yukteSu sva bhAjaneSu parikireyuH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript"अनेन अर्घेण, विशिष्टं वा भूयो दीयताम्" इति तत्र एव अवाकिरेयुः ॥
"With this price, or rather, let something more excellent be given," they should scatter right there.
