एकाहं वा नवाहं वा तथा मंडलमेव वा । यथायोग्यं प्रकुर्वीत कालदेशानुसारतः ११६ ।
One should perform the ritual for one day, or for nine days, or even for a specific number of days according to the needs. The arrangement should be done according to time and place.
english translation
शमीहोमश्च शांत्यर्थे वृत्त्यर्थे च पलाशकम् । समिदन्नाज्यकैर्द्र व्यैर्नाम्ना मंत्रेण वा हुनेत् ११७ ।
The sacrificial twigs shall be of Śamī tree if the rite is intended for Śānti (suppression of evil effects) or of Palāśa tree if the rite is intended for the acquisition of livelihood. Cooked rice and ghee shall also be used. The offerings shall be made by repeating the names of the deities or mantras.

प्रारंभे यत्कृतं द्र व्यं तत्क्रियांतं समाचरेत् । पुण्याहं वाचयित्वांते दिने संप्रोक्ष्ययेज्जलैः ११८ ।
The articles of worship used in the beginning shall be continued till the end. At the conclusion, the Puṇyāhavācana shall be performed and the holy water sprinkled over the different members of the family.

ब्राह्मणान्भोजयेत्पश्चाद्यावदाहुतिसंख्यया । आचार्यश्च हविष्याशीऋत्विजश्च भवेद्बुधाः ११९ ।
Brahmins, as many in number as the number of offerings made, shall be fed, O scholarly sages, the preceptor and the presiding priest shall partake of sacrificial food alone.
english translation
आदित्यादीन्ग्रहानिष्ट्वा सर्वहोमांत एव हि । ऋत्विभ्यो दक्षिणां दद्यान्नवरत्नं यथाक्रमम् 1-18-१२० ।
The entire rite shall conclude after the worship of nine planets. A gem along with monetary gifts shall be given to each of the Ṛtviks.
