अशक्तस्त्वेककाले वा सूर्याग्नी च यथाविधि । तंडुलं धान्यमाज्यं वा फलं कंदं हविस्तथा ८१ ।

Persons unable to perform the same, both the times, shall do so once, worshipping the sun and the fire duly. Raw rice, other food grains, ghee, fruits, bulbous roots, cooked food soaked in ghee for sacrificial rites—all these things shall be duly used as prescribed in the sacred texts.

स्थालीपाकं तथा कुर्याद्यथान्यायं यथाविधि । प्रधानहोममात्रं वा हव्याभावे समाचरेत् ८२ ।

Sthālīpāka (offerings of cooked food in the vessel itself) shall be performed at the stipulated time in the manner laid down. If there is no Havya (cooked rice offering) the main sacrifice alone shall be performed.

sthAlIpAkaM tathA kuryAdyathAnyAyaM yathAvidhi | pradhAnahomamAtraM vA havyAbhAve samAcaret 82 |

नित्यसंधानमित्युक्तं तमजस्रं विदुर्बुधाः । अथवा जपमात्रं वा सूर्यवंदनमेव च ८३।

Thus the daily rites have been narrated. These shall be performed always; or repeated muttering of mantra alone or the worship of the sun shall be performed.

एवमात्मार्थिनः कुर्युरर्थार्थी च यथाविधि । ब्रह्मयज्ञरता नित्यं देवपूजारतास्तथा ८४ ।

Those who seek welfare of the soul shall do like this. A person who seeks wealth also shall do likewise. All persons devoted to Brahmayajña, worship of gods, worship of fire, reverence to preceptors and gratification of brahmins deserve to attain heaven.

अग्निपूजापरा नित्यं गुरुपूजारतास्तथा । ब्राह्मणानां तृप्तिकराः सर्वे स्वर्गस्य भागिनः ८५ ।

Those who are constantly engaged in the worship of Agni (the fire god), in the worship of their Guru (spiritual teacher), and in actions that bring satisfaction to Brahmanas (learned individuals) — all such individuals are participants in the heavenly realms (Swarga).
