स्वाम्बुशत्रुमृतिखायगः शुभो ज्ञस्तदा न खलु विध्द्यते सदा । स्वाल्मजत्रितप आद्यनैधन प्राप्तिगैविबुधुभिर्यदि ग्रहैः ॥ ६॥
Mercury will be auspicious when he transits the 2 nd, 4 th, 6 th, 8 th, 10 th and 11 th houses provided their corresponding Vedha places, vz., 5 th, 3 rd, 9 th, 1 st, 8 th and 12 th are not occupied by any of the planets other than the Moon.

स्वायधर्मतनयास्तसंस्थितो नाकनायकपुरोहितः शुभः । रिःफरन्ध्रखजलत्रिगैर्यदा विध्द्यते गगनचारिभिर्न हि ॥ ७॥
During his transit in the 2 nd 11 th, 9 th, 5 th and 7 th, Jupiter is good if the corresponding Vedha places, viz., 12 th, 8 th, 10 th, 4 th and 3 rd are void of planets.

आसुताष्टमतपोव्ययायगो विद्ध आस्फुजिदशोभनः स्मृतः । नैधनास्ततनुकर्मधर्मधीलाभवरिसहजस्थखेचरैः ॥ ८॥
Venus will give bad effects during his transit through 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th, 8 th 9 th, 12 th and 11 th, if he is marred by planets in the corresponding Vedha places, viz., 8 th, 7 th, 1 st, 10 th, 9 th, 5 th, 11 th, 6 th and 3 rd respectively.

जन्मन्यायासदाता क्षपयति विभवान् क्रोधरोगाध्वदाता वित्तभ्रंशं द्वितीये दिशति न सुखदो पञ्चनामाग्रहं च । स्थानप्राप्तिं तृतीये धननिचयमुदाकल्यकृच्चारिहन्ता रोगाण् दत्ते चतुर्थे जनयति च मुहुः स्रग्धराभोगविघ्नम् ॥ ९॥
When the Sun traverses through the Rasi occupied by the Moon, the person concerned will suffer fatigue and loss of wealth. He will become irrilated and suffer from diseases. He will undertake a wearisome journey. When he transits the 2 nd house, there will be loss of wealth; and the person will be unhappy He will be duped by others, and will be obsti nate. In the 3 rd house, acquisition of a new position, advent of moneys, happiness, freedom from sickness and destruction of enemies will be the result. In the 4 th house, the Sun will cause diseases ; and there will often arise impediments to the native in the matter of his sexual enjoyments.

वित्तक्षोभं सुतस्थो वितरति बहुशो रोगमोहादिदाता षष्ठेऽर्को हन्ति रोगान् क्षपयति च रिपूञ्छोकमोहान्प्रमाष्टिम् । आध्वानं सप्तमस्थो जठरगुदभयं दैन्यभावं च तस्मै रुक्त्रासावष्टमस्थः कलयति कलहं राजभीतिं च तापम् ॥ १०॥
Mental agitation, ill-health and embarrassment in all possible ways will be the result of the Sun's transit in the 5 th house. The Sun in the 6 th house will remove all diseases, destroy enemies, and dispel all sorrows and mental anxieties. In the 7 th house, there will be wearisome travelling, diseases of the stomach and the anus. The person concerned will further suffer humiliation. During the Sun's transit in the 8 th house, the native will suffer from fear, and diseases. He will be drawn to a quarrel. He will incur royal displeasure and he will suffer also from excessive heat.
