सद्यः प्राणहरो यस्मात्तस्मात्तस्य विशेषतः । तस्यां तस्यामवस्थायां तत्तत्कुर्याद्भिषग्जितम् ॥ १७६ ॥
Apathya: Unsuitable things in fever : Since the fever takes away life quickly it should be addressed with priority (amongst all diseases), it should be treated at each stage, beginning from Ama stage, suitably.
english translation
sadyaH prANaharo yasmAttasmAttasya vizeSataH । tasyAM tasyAmavasthAyAM tattatkuryAdbhiSagjitam ॥ 176 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptओषधयो मणयश्च सुमन्त्राः साधुगुरुद्विजदैवतपूजाः । प्रीतिकरा मनसो विषयाश्च घ्नन्त्यपि विष्णुकृतं ज्वरमुग्रम् ॥ १७७ ॥
Pathya: Suitable things in fever : Wearing of potent herbs and precious gems, chanting benevolent hymns, worship of saints, preceptors, the twice born (Brahmans) and Gods, Affectionate mind and (indulgence in) objects, pleasing the mind cure dreadful fevers though caused even by God Vishnu.

oSadhayo maNayazca sumantrAH sAdhugurudvijadaivatapUjAH । prItikarA manaso viSayAzca ghnantyapi viSNukRtaM jvaramugram ॥ 177 ॥
