तावता विस्तृतः पर्यक् त्रिभिः श‍ृङ्गैः पयोनिधिम् । दिशः खं रोचयन्नास्ते रौप्यायसहिरण्मयैः ॥ ८-२-२ ॥

sanskrit

The length and breadth of the mountain are of the same measurement ॥ eighty thousand miles॥. Its three principal peaks, which are made of iron, silver and gold, beautify all directions and the sky. ॥ 8-2-2 ॥

english translation

पर्वत की लम्बाई तथा चौड़ाई समान (८० हजार मील) है। इसकी तीन प्रमुख चोटियाँ, जो लोहे, चाँदी तथा सोने की बनी हैं, सारी दिशाओं एवं आकाश को सुन्दर बनाती हैं। ॥ ८-२-२ ॥
