तेषां निर्यासरूपेण ब्रह्महत्या प्रदृश्यते । शश्वत्कामवरेणांहस्तुरीयं जगृहुः स्त्रियः ॥ ६-९-९ ॥

These reactions are visible in the flowing of sap from trees. ॥ Therefore one is forbidden to drink this sap.॥ In return for Lord Indra’s benediction that they would be able to enjoy lusty desires continuously, even during pregnancy for as long as sex is not injurious to the embryo, women accepted one fourth of the sinful reactions. ॥ 6-9-9 ॥

english translation

ये पापफल वृक्षों से निकलने वाले रस के रूप में दिखाई पड़ते हैं (इसलिए इस रस को पीना वर्जित है)। स्त्रियों ने, इन्द्र से बदले में यह वरदान प्राप्त करके कि वे अपनी काम-वासनाओं को, जब तक वे भ्रूण के लिए हानिकर न हों, गर्भकाल में भी निरन्तर पूरी कर सकेंगी, पापफलों का चतुर्थांश स्वीकार कर लिया। ॥ ६-९-९ ॥
