पुरुषोऽण्डं विनिर्भिद्य यदासौ स विनिर्गतः । आत्मनोऽयनमन्विच्छन्नपोऽस्राक्षीच्छुचिः शुचीः ॥ २-१०-१० ॥
After separating the different universes, the gigantic universal form of the Lord ॥ Mahā-Viṣṇu॥, which came out of the Causal Ocean, the place of appearance for the first puruṣa-avatāra, entered into each of the separate universes, desiring to lie on the created transcendental water ॥ Garbhodaka॥. ॥ 2-10-10 ॥
english translation
विभिन्न ब्रह्माण्डों को पृथक् करके विराट स्वरूप भगवान् (महाविष्णु), जो प्रथम पुरुष अवतार के प्रकट होने के स्थान कारणार्णव से बाहर आये थे, सृजित दिव्य जल (गर्भोदक) में शयन करने की इच्छा से उन विभिन्न ब्रह्माण्डों में प्रविष्ट हुए। ॥ २-१०-१० ॥
