घटे भिन्ने यथाऽऽकाश आकाशः स्याद्यथा पुरा । एवं देहे मृते जीवो ब्रह्म सम्पद्यते पुनः ॥ १२-५-५ ॥

sanskrit

When a pot is broken, the portion of sky within the pot remains as the element sky, just as before. In the same way, when the gross and subtle bodies die, the living entity within resumes his spiritual identity. ॥ 12-5-5 ॥

english translation

जब घड़ा फोड़ा जाता है तो घड़े के भीतर आकाश का भाग पहले की तरह आकाश तत्व के रूप में ही रह जाता है। उसी तरह, जब स्थूल और सूक्ष्म शरीर मर जाते हैं, तो भीतर का जीव अपनी आध्यात्मिक पहचान फिर से शुरू कर देता है। ॥ १२-५-५ ॥
